Spring and food

At Last the fruit is starting to form on the strawberry plants. The boss seems to have forgotten that I have a passion for fruit, so when the lady boss let me off the lead on the allotment it didn't take me long to find the strawberry patch. Would you believe it, there were some pink (not yet red) fruits forming. They don't taste as good as the red ones but it's still food.
I only managed 3 unripe strawberries before she caught me - drat, foiled again.
I guess I'll have to wait for the blackcurrants next.
If any of my friends out there haven't tried strawberries I suggest you give them a try - but be discreet about it!!!!

Hi Delta,

I'm so excited to find another BT on this surfing-world-thingy! Someone who shares my coat anxieties and bemusement at snow... I'm just so overwhelmed, I'll simply have to go back to sleep again.
